RATES

$60/hour for music, including me (Tom) as engineer.

$100/hr for non-music, corporate, voice-over, phone-sync, etc.

Production quoted by the job.

I keep my hourly rate as low as I can for music rather than play the discount game.

I don't do block rates. Everyone pays the same hourly rate, whether they're a new client or one I've been working with for years. It drives me crazy when service companies I do business with (think cable, phone, etc.) run advertisements offering the same services I already pay for for less money to new customers. I choose not to do that.

The hourly rate includes use of anything that's here, there are no "extra" charges for particular pieces of gear or instruments (piano tuning being the only reasonable exception). Very occasionally a piece of gear is out for repair, or I've upgraded and neglected to update the web site, so please check with me if a particular piece of gear is crucial to your session!

The only additional costs are media, cd-rs and hard drives, and piano tuning, if desired.
