Newburyport is a great place to visit. There are more than 30 restaurants within a few minutes of the studio, and plenty of places to stay. We are the last stop on the Newburyport train line, which runs from Boston's North Station. The ride is about an hour and the schedule can be found here.
Due to a strong tourist draw the city has many more options than what you'd expect from a little seaside town!
Mr.India and Jewel in the Crown are far better than they have any right to be. Real Indian food. Garlic nan makes my day.
Szechuan Taste serves Japanese, Thai, and Chinese. Lunch specials, sushi, Peking duck...
And plenty of other options, upscale and down: Molly's Pub, the Purple Onion, Michael's Harborside, the Black Cow, David's, etc.
